Remember to treat this project like it is worth $20k, because it can truly add that much money to your bottom-line once you get ready to sell it, and make sure that the local roofing contractor that you hire is aware of that very fact. Once you find that one that blows your hair back, make sure they communicate with you throughout the completion of the project because you always want to know what is going. Shoot, ask to see if you can get on the roof with them, because that is just good fun. If you are afraid of heights, then you will just have to take their word for it.
